I can’t believe it’s Friday already!! Jack got to go to his first Phillies game (he loved it) and we all spent as much time outside as possible.
Here’s what has been on my radar this week:
ONE // What It’s Like Grocery Shopping for Martha Stewart
This was an incredibly interesting TikTok detailing what it’s like being a food stylist/grocery shopper for Martha Stewart. I loved hearing the behind the scenes of what that job entails and what it looks like. I don’t know that I’d have the patience for the schlepping (or the pressure of working for Martha!), but talk about an interesting career!!
TWO // Hand Embroidered Tote
Did this tote catch my eye because it’s personalized with my name?! Yes, it did. I love a good French market style tote though and this one is so cute with both short and long handles. I like that you can personalize it with whatever you want. Maybe your favorite destination or the name of your vacation home or just your first name! This would be a nice gift to give, too.
THREE // Hypernormalization
Are you feeling weird lately? Like the world is both simultaneously crumbling around us and also proceeding with normal life too? I have been struggling with my everyday life– and posting anything on social media (or even my blog) feels trivial, but it’s also my job… This article about “hypernormalization” explained perfectly the dissonance we’re feeling.
FOUR // Gingham Halter Dress
I bought this dress for our upcoming summer vacation and I’m hoping it’s a winner. Love the low back and bow at the neck.
FIVE // Story Book Doll House
There are no words to describe how obsessed I am with this story book doll house. I want it for myself! It’s so creative and perfectly executed. Kylie absolutely nailed every detail!! The Goodnight Moon room is definitely my favorite, but I know Jack would love the If You Give A Mouse A Cookie book– we read that and watch the show and listen to audiobooks of the series all the time!!
