ON MY RADAR 5.23.25

We had a busy week over here and I’m thrilled to be ending it in one piece. I was in the city all day Wednesday which filled my cup in so many ways (got to see friends I don’t get see nearly enough, reconnected with others, went to a few events for work) and also zapped my energy. It was pouring on and off all day and I left my house at 6:30 in the morning and didn’t get back until midnight. I have a feeling I’ll be paying the price for a few days!!

Here’s what was on my radar this week:

Had to share this old photo of one of my favorite summer tops because it’s now available in red! Excited to add it into my summer rotation!

ONE // Tennis Court & Hut

I cannot get over how chic and fun this tennis court and hut are. What a fun, and slightly over the top, addition to a backyard. A girl can dream….

TWO // Rifle Paper Co Americana Collection

I’ve been loving Rifle Paper Co’s seasonal collections lately. They really do seem be raising their own bar with each new collection! This Americana one takes the cake. Adorable for summer. I think we need these melamine dessert plates for backyard hosting.

THREE // “Literacy Tourism” For Your Next Vacation

With summer trips on the horizon, I love this reminder that choosing books for your specific destinations can add a whole new dimension to your travels. This post has some good recommendations for book pairings for popular vacation spots. (And honestly? If you’re not traveling and wish you were, maybe you could choose a book to transport you there through reading!)

FOUR // Striped Collared Terry Sweatshirt

This striped terry sweatshirt is very similar to one I have from like a decade ago. It’s a favorite of mine and, after having a couple of kids, fit a lot better a decade ago. Probably time for an upgrade…

FIVE // Interviews With 6th Grade Self

Wow, don’t watch this if you’re not in a position to let out a good cry. It’s so sweet and emotional! A school interviewed students in sixth grade asking their senior year selves some questions and they edited the seniors’ answers in. Oh my heart could hardly take it– it’s so sweet.

My son is graduating in a few weeks and I would love to see the TikTok! Unfortunately, TikTok now seems to force me to sign up for the app to view links. Probably for the best given how emotional high school graduation already is for parents. It’s really true how the days are long but the years are short.

Oh my gosh, the interviews. I cried like a baby. Some people cry at weddings or funerals, for me it’s graduations.

I love the literacy tourism article. Such a good idea to read to transport us there if we aren’t traveling!
