Happy Friday! We had a nice week here at home and we’re looking forward to a nice weekend at home, too. Sometimes when I go to write these, I’m like, well, not much happened outside of the norm (tap class! mahjong! work! the boys!) and while it might not make for interesting ~content~, these are the weeks I love.
I made these adorable confetti cookies for our mahjong night! (I called them Kong-Fetti Cookies!)
Here’s what is on my radar this week:
ONE // Emma Robert’s LA Home
This is an older video touring Emma Robert’s house in LA, but it popped up recently as a recommended video and I love it! It’s cozy and quirky and very layered. I love all the little trinkets and collectibles. A fun tour!
TWO // Tuckernuck x Studio McGee
Studio McGee’s collection for Tuckernuck is here! It’s, unsurprisingly, selling out quickly, so if you see something you want in your size, I wouldn’t wait. Tuckernuck did a great job taking Studio McGee’s vibe and translating it into a gorgeous clothing collection.
THREE // Kids Ride Free on the Auto Train
Traveling via train is something I’m very interested in doing. I have a couple of trips in mind, though I have to say traveling with the kids never really crossed my mind. I can’t remember where I saw this, but I needed to share! Kids ride free this summer on Amtrak’s Auto Train– it goes from Washington, DC to Orlando and you bring your car with me!! Sounds fun to me, honestly.
FOUR // Jelly Sandals
Jelly Sandals are one of my favorite childhood memories and I’m thrilled– and shook– that they’re “back.” I think these would be cute options for beach trips, running errands, rainy days, and pool visits! (I also have and love this more modern version.)
FIVE // A Grand Experiment in Parenthood & Friendship (gift article)
One of my favorite things about our neighborhood is how close we are with our neighbors. Being able to pop over to each other’s houses for impromptu dinners or playdates is a game changer. Being a parent can really feel isolating when it takes so much coordination just to see friends. We also had a fantastic experience having family friends stay with us last summer to the point where I thought, “It would be nice if we all lived next door to each other.” And I’m constantly trying to convince friends to move to our neighborhood, sending house listings whenever one pops up. This article talks about some of the pros and cons of communal living and parenting side by side with friends. I like it.
What a great roundup of favorites! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend!

The Tuckernuck x Studio McGee collection is gorgeous! I hope you have a great weekend
I did the autotrain with my family in high school and loved it! Brought the portable dvd player (circa 2010…..) and watched gilmore girls dvd sets the entire time. Although as a mom of a toddler now I can’t imagine doing it until she’s at least school age. Lindsey Silberman did a fantastic/hilarious review of the autotrain
