Due to my team’s practices during spring break, I won’t be able to attend the Martha- Lilly show after all.

A follower DMed me this weekend inviting me to her mom’s house to cut some peonies from her garden. Garden is an understatement. It’s an exquisite path of peonies as far as the eye can see. I came a little past peak (and after a heavy rain storm)…. even still it was so magical it took my breath away. Oh and the scent? HEAVENLY. I cut a few stems to bring home and my whole car was filled with a pure peony fragrance. (Thank you, thank you!!!)

YOu decided to choose your team over your wants and that is not only hard to do but courageous. I hope your teamates realized what you gave up for them. You will encounter another meeting, somewhere, somehow because you have shown real dedication!!! There are not enough people willing to sacrifice fun over dedication. In the end you will be the winner!!!

I was so disappointed that I did not get tickets! I know how you must have felt. I have even signed up at my local Lilly store to be in a drawing that Lilly is having. If you haven’t given them away, I would be happy to take them off your hands! (Ha! Ha!)
