Wedding season is upon us! I, for one, love seeing what everyone wears. Some people have a single look they rely on every occasion, while others treat each one like its own moment based on the invitation’s aesthetic. Instead of trying to cover every single wedding dress code out there (there really are SO MANY), I focused on semi-formal and cocktail dresses to wear to a summer wedding.
Best Wedding Guest Dresses for Summer Under $250
Pink Toile Midi // Green Midi // Floral Strapless Midi ($136!) // Blue Midi // Pink Midi // Blue Eyelet Midi
Blue Swiss Dot Midi ($69!) // Pink One-Shoulder Maxi ($148!) // Blue Floral Midi // Floral One-Shoulder Midi ($140!) // Pink Floral Midi // Aqua Midi
Pink Toile Midi // Out of all the summer wedding guest dresses here, I think this silhouette is my favorite. I just love the full skirt– it has so much twirl-ability!! The toile pattern is classic, but somehow also feels fresh in pink?
Green Midi // Bright colors aren’t normally in my wheelhouse, but the cape top was too good to resist– SO chic! You can also choose from light pink, navy, or black, if you’d rather wear a more subdued color dress.
Floral Strapless Midi ($136!) // If you can’t tell by some of the other dresses here, I simply cannot resist floral prints. There are too many stylish options! I have a larger chest, making a strapless dress unrealistic, but if you’re smaller up top, this is well-priced and timeless.
Blue Midi // Is this my perfect dress?! It might just be. I love it all– the color, the sleeves, the length, everything. When you’re going to an outdoor wedding, lightweight fabrics are a must. (No one wants to work up a sweat before hitting the dance floor!)
Pink Midi // For an evening event that calls for more formal attire, I love this dress. The shine on the fabric makes the simple, classic silhouette feel more fancy (it probably qualifies as black tie), and the hot pink is a fun addition.
Blue Eyelet Midi // This is one of those summer dresses you can wear almost anywhere. The cotton eyelet fabric helps it blend in with more casual attire, though you could just as easily pull it off for a rehearsal dinner or wedding.
Blue Swiss Dot Midi ($69!) // The price on this is too good to not post about!! I love when sleeveless dresses do something fun with the straps like these bows. This one comes in a couple of soft pastels, plus a wine red.
Pink One-Shoulder Maxi ($148!) // I think this would work for wedding guests or the wedding party! It’s simple, chic, and easy, checking all the boxes. Plus, the side slit gives it a comfortable fit, so you won’t be feeling constricted the entire time.
Blue Floral Midi // In addition to all the darling prints this dress comes in, I love that it can flatter many different body types. The straps are adjustable, which I think is an underrated feature– with a style that has a band right under the chest like this one, it’s important to have the perfect fit!
Floral One-Shoulder Midi ($140!) // So I know you’re not supposed to wear white on someone’s big day, but I think the vibrant hues do more than enough to offset the white background. The ric rac accents are such a fun extra touch!
Pink Floral Midi // This is the last of the floral dresses, I promise! If you want to make a subtle statement, I really think this one is it. You can’t tell until you click on the dress, but its pattern is full of color, romance, and movement. (And the other pattern, Hydrangea Chintz, is equally as darling.)
Aqua Midi // Out of all the options, this one is the best choice for a tropical beach wedding. With my coloring, I should really wear more jewel tones, and the ball details on the straps might just incentivize me to! I think Tuckernuck could easily release this dress in more colors.
I love the variety of prints and styles! Thanks for sharing!
